At the age of five Hanka Clout (1981) received her first piano lessons from her mother, Yvonne Stachowska. While still a high school student, she began studying at the Conservatory of Maastricht, the Netherlands (1995). Four years later her clarinet skills won her a place at the young talent department of the Amsterdam Conservatory. She studied piano with Barbara Grajewska (2001) and clarinet with Harmen de Boer (2005) and Hans Colbers (2007), graduating with top marks in both studies.
She followed master classes with Ralph Manno, Karl Leister, Roeland Hendrickx, Brian Pollard and Evgeny Moguilevsky.
Hanka is solo clarinettist from NASKA and Nijetrijne Opera Ensemble. Besides that, she plays second and bassclarinet in the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (NNO). In 2007 she graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she studied clarinet with Harmen de Boer and Hans Colbers, and E-flat clarinet with Arno Piters. Hanka studied bassclarinet with Davide Lattuada (RCO).
Hanka is clarinettist of the Amsterdam Wind Quintet since 2006. She plays as a substitute with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestras, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, Ballet Orkest, Residentie Orkest, the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra, KMK JWF, the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Dutch Royal Air Force Orchestra. She has also played with the Valerius Ensemble and the Dutch Wind Ensemble (NBE).
She teaches clarinet and piano at her own private music studio.
Hanka performed as a soloist with the Crea Orkest Amsterdam, Orkest van Utrecht, Hanze Orkest, Zaans Symfonie Orkest, Ensemble Mirecourt, and De Ontzetting Wageningen.
She performed in The Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Mexico, and two times in China with the Amsterdam Wind Quintet.
